GSuite Smart host smtp relay provider

Are you using Gsuite as your server but want to use turboSMTP as your Smart host relay provider? By default, Gsuite only supports its own server to deliver outgoing emails. But you can set up Gsuite so that users of other domains can specify a smarthost for their outgoing emails.

For EU customers: please replace pro.turbo-smtp.com with pro.eu.turbo-smtp.com

Here’s how to do it:

  1. Allow users to use an outbound gateway. Sign in to your Google Admin Console using an administrator account. Follow the path Apps> G Suite> Gmail > End User Access. In the Allow per-user outbound gateways section, select Allow users to send mail through an external SMTP server when configuring a “from” address hosted outside your email domains. For any doubt consult the Google guide.
    Setup Gsuite smart host
  2. Follow this guide describing how users can add their own email address. Enter the server name (pro.turbo-smtp.com) and your TurboSMTP credentials.
    Setup Gsuite smart host
