# Start Your turboSMTP Free Trial

> Create a free turboSMTP account with up to 200 emails per day, SMTP relay, and HTTP API sending. No credit card required.

The Free plan lets you evaluate SMTP relay and HTTP API sending with up to **200 emails per day**. No credit card is required.

The current [pricing page](https://serversmtp.com/pricing/) lists the offer for the **first six months**. Review the offer shown during signup and the plan details in your dashboard.

## Activate your account

**1. Register**

Follow **Start for free** on the [pricing page](https://serversmtp.com/pricing/), select **Register** on the sign-in screen, and complete registration. The sign-in screen also offers Google and Microsoft sign-in.

**2. Follow the email instructions**

Check your inbox and complete the verification steps sent by turboSMTP.

**3. Wait for activation**

turboSMTP staff review eligible free accounts. You receive an email when activation is complete.

**4. Create sending credentials**

Sign in to the [dashboard](https://dashboard.serversmtp.com) and open **Settings → Integrations → API Keys → Edit**. Create a key with **SMTP Sending** or **HTTP API Sending** enabled for your integration.

Use the **Consumer Key** as your SMTP username and the **Consumer Secret** as your SMTP password. For HTTP sending, pass them as the `consumerKey` and `consumerSecret` headers. See [API keys](/docs/get-started/api-keys.md) and [SMTP configuration](/docs/get-started/smtp-configuration.md).

## Upgrade

In the dashboard, click the green **Order a new plan** button in the top bar or use the order option in your plan box. Your purchase activates after payment approval and any required account review.

If your account has both free and paid sending allowances, turboSMTP uses the available free allowance first, up to 200 emails per day, before using paid volume.
